Ling Low Journalist – Hubs researcher

Ling Low is a journalist, writer and media strategist. From 2012 – 2015, she was Editor in Chief of the Malaysian online magazine Poskod.my, an independent website which covered culture and current affairs in the Klang Valley. Poskod.my was recognised for its work on human interest stories and urban development, garnering a Silver award for Best Lifestyle Website at the Asian Digital Media Awards (World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers) in 2015.
Ling went on to edit and publish an anthology of selected feature stories from Poskod.my, Stories From the City: Rediscovering Kuala Lumpur (MPH, 2016), an off-beat guide to Kuala Lumpur’s everyday mysteries and untold stories. Since then, Ling has been commissioned to write for the Guardian’s Cities section and the Telegraph’s travel section. She has also written on arts, culture and travel for DestinAsian, Elle Malaysia and other magazines. Ling holds a BA in English Literature and an MPhil in Modern Chinese Studies.
