Verstraete, Katelijn

Katelijn Verstraete has been Director Arts & Creative Industries East Asia since October 2012. Her passion for supporting the development of the arts started with the set-up in 1999 of the first independent art space BizArt in Shanghai. Her belief in the important role of arts in society has grown over years of work in developing multi-stakeholder platforms between Asia and Europe in the areas of cultural policy, artistic exchange, training and digital exchange for, and Katelijn is the co-author of the Europe-China Cultural Compass, a EUNIC cluster publication.
